Welcome to NaijaFund. By using our platform, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Who We Are

NaijaFund is a Nigerian crowdfunding platform that connects campaign creators with donors. We facilitate payments but do not guarantee that any campaign goal will be reached.

2. Campaign Rules

• All campaigns must be truthful and not misleading.
• Campaign creators must provide accurate bank details for disbursement.
• We reserve the right to reject or remove any campaign that violates our policies.
• Funds raised must be used for the stated purpose.
• Campaigns involving illegal activities are strictly prohibited.

3. Platform Fees

NaijaFund charges an 8% platform fee on all successful donations. This fee covers payment processing, SMS notifications, platform maintenance, and fraud prevention. Paystack also charges their standard transaction fee (approximately 1.5% + ₦100, capped at ₦2,000).

4. Donor Responsibilities

Donations are voluntary. While we verify campaigns before they go live, NaijaFund cannot guarantee the outcome of any campaign. We encourage donors to read campaign stories carefully before donating.

5. Refunds

All donations are final. Refunds are only issued in cases of verified fraud. If you believe a campaign is fraudulent, please contact us immediately at hello@naijafund.ng.

6. Privacy

We collect and process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

7. Limitation of Liability

NaijaFund is a facilitator and is not liable for the actions of campaign creators or donors. We make no warranties about the outcome of any campaign.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains how NaijaFund collects, uses, and protects your information.

1. Information We Collect

• Campaign creators: Name, phone number, bank account details, campaign story and photos.
• Donors: Name (optional), email address, donation amount.
• All users: Browser type, IP address, pages visited (via standard server logs).

2. How We Use Your Information

• To process donations and disburse funds to campaign creators.
• To send SMS notifications via Termii (campaign updates, donation alerts).
• To send email confirmations via Brevo.
• To verify campaign authenticity and prevent fraud.
• To improve our platform.

3. Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Paystack. Your card details are never stored on NaijaFund's servers. Paystack's privacy policy applies to payment data.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with service providers (Paystack, Termii, Brevo, Supabase) strictly for operating the platform.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS, encrypted database storage, and restricted access to sensitive data.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing hello@naijafund.ng.

7. Cookies

We use minimal cookies for session management only. We do not use advertising cookies.
